REQUIREMENTS FOR FIRST-TIME FRESHMEN
You qualify for admission as a first-time freshman if you meet the following requirements:

Are a high school graduate

Complete the required (a-g) college prep courses with a grade of "C" or higher
-
Meet the SAT/ACT eligibility index with your grade point average
Online application for admission can be completed at www2.calstate.edu/applyThe filing period begins October 1st of every year.
REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS
You may qualify for admission as a transfer student if you meet the following requirements:

Complete the 4 Basic Skills Requirements with a grade of "C" or higher (A1. Oral Communication - A2. Written Communication - A3. Critical Thinking - B4. Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning)

Meet a minimum of 60 CSUB transferable semester units or 90 quarter units

Have a minimum 2.0 grade point average
