Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities

Welcome to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (OSRR)!

Our role is to support the University’s educational mission by administering the Student Conduct Code, uphold the University's standards to promote responsible behavior, and advocate every student’s right to learn in a safe, healthy, and productive environment.  OSRR is committed to contributing to student development and success by fostering high standards of academic integrity, citizenship, civility, respect, and ethical growth. In accordance with these values, we provide opportunities for developmental learning outcomes and hold students responsible for their actions.

We encourage you to contact our office if you have questions about:

  • your student rights and responsibilities;
  • the Student Conduct Code;
  • the Student Conduct Process;
  • how to report an alleged violation of the Student Conduct Code;
  • how to request or view your disciplinary record;
  • how to request an OSRR Presentation; and
  • what campus resources are available to you.

In our efforts to increase social-distancing and mitigate community transmission of COVID-19, the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities will operate remotely until further notice. Our team will continue to work and respond to email and voicemail messages. We understand the challenges this transition will encompass and encourage you to contact us via email or telephone for any questions you may have. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times.
