CSUB Student Conduct

The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities is committed to the principle of due process. Alleged violations of the Student Conduct Code are handled in an educational manner with fairness and impartiality. Appropriate consequences and/or actions can be applied to maintain the University’s expectations for all students.

Executive Order 1098 Revised August 14, 2020


These procedures are established pursuant to 5 California Code of Regulations Section 41301, and govern all Student disciplinary matters systemwide.

Procedures for cases involving and not involving Discrimination, Harassment, Retaliation, Sexual Misconduct, Domestic and Dating Violence, or Stalking.

Interim Suspension

An order set in place to separate a student to protect the personal safety of persons within the University community or property, and to ensure the maintenance of order.
