Commencement Celebrations and Recognition Ceremonies

Commencement season is in full swing at California State University, Bakersfield, which means a number of personal celebrations and recognition events to honor our graduates before the main graduate hooding event and undergraduate ceremony next week.

Each school at the University also holds a ceremony to recognize its outstanding students for that academic year.

Ceremonies, so far, have included: Veterans Student Recognition Reception; CSUB Athletics Rowdies; Roadrunner Society Ceremony; and Children’s Center Graduation.

Lavender Recognition Ceremony

Sunday, May 19 – 3 p.m. || Hellenic Center, Antelope Valley Campus

Order of the Engineer Induction Ceremony

Thursday, May 23, 5:30 to 7 p.m. || CSUB Administrative Quad area

Nursing Pinning Ceremony

Saturday, May 25 – 2 p.m. || Harvey Auditorium at Bakersfield High School (1241 G St, Bakersfield, CA 93304)
