CSUB welcomes P90X spokesperson Tony Horton to campus

Fitness professional Tony HortonBest selling fitness program author to give daylong seminar

The Physical Education and Kinesiology (PEAK) Department at California State University, Bakersfield welcomes New York Times best selling author and national health and fitness expert Tony Horton to campus. Horton will share his “11 Laws of Fitness” during a seminar on Saturday, May 17th from 10am to 5pm in the Student Recreation Center. The day's events are hosted by PEAK and include a workout session at 3pm, followed by a book signing.

Horton is best known as the spokesperson for the best selling fitness program in America, P90X®. Horton helps people get fit all over the world by keeping them motivated in health, physique, and lifestyle. Over the last 20 years, he has acquired, perfected, and shared his fitness expertise with countless individuals across the nation. His expertise includes post-rehabilitation training, advanced stretching, yoga, weight/resistance training, cardiovascular/aerobic training, boxing and kickboxing, plus circuit, cross and interval training. His first book “Bring It,” with Rodale books debuted January 2010, and his second eBook “Crush It,” debuted in May 2012.

To have him come to campus and speak to the Bakersfield community is amazing.
