Media Lab

The media lab provides state of the art technology to you assist you with your digital media needs.  The lab contains Windows and Mac computers as well as other devices for printing, scanning, laminating, and converting your media. Additionally, a student assistant is available to help with any questions you may have. For more information about our products and services, please read our FAQ below.

What formats does your media conversion work with?

the Media Lab can transfer Cassette tapes to CD, and VHS tapes to DVD. Blank discs are available.

What type of scanning can you handle?

We can scan negatives, slides, pictures, books, and other documents, and save them digitally.

What type of printing and laminating do you offer?

Along with regular 8.5"x11" paper, the Media Lab offers poster printing up to 42" wide and transparency printing as well, all in black & white or color.  We also offer lamination, up to 26" wide.

Do you have computer programs for photo and video editing?

Yes, we have Windows and Mac computers with popular photo and video editing programs. We have a student assistant available to help with any questions.

Where is the Media Lab located?

The Media Lab is located in the Lower level of the Walter Stiern Library, Room 11.  We can be contacted at 661-654-2069.

What are your hours of operation?

The Media Lab is available Monday - Thursday from 8am - 8pm and Friday from 8am - 5pm.
