Note that this is only a general guide with one example of how to schedule classes to graduate in four years. It assumes that no remedial Math, English, or other classes are needed. Always confirm the classes you take each semester with a Geological Sciences advisor.

1 Upper Division Geology Electives include Geol 3080, 4010, 4020, 4050, 4060, 4770, 4810 or graduate classes with advisor approval. Note that many of these classes have pre-requisites; check with an advisor when in doubt. Three upper division elective courses are required.
2 Free Electives a total of 120 units are required for a BS degree. Use these units to cover possible pre-requisites for required majors and cognates classes or for other classes of interest.
