We have pre-approved routes for your accessibility. Feel free to use a suggested route and follow the necessary guidelines. If you choose to map out your own route, before the Run is confirmed, you must meet with the Event Coordinator Dina Ebeling, UPD Chief Martin Williamson, and Safety & Risk Manager Tim Ridley. Please contact the Office of Events to set up this appointment at least 2 months before your Run.

Requirements to Host a Run at CSUB

  • All Runs require Approved Liability Insurance and Additionally Insured Insurance

  • All Runs require the University Police Department's Participation. UPD will determine what is needed for the route as well as  the amount of participants. For more information Click Here.

  • If a Run is starting and finishing on-campus, parking will need to be reserved by the host through the Event Coordinator Dina Ebeling.

  • Runs that start and/or finish off-campus must contact the Bakersfield Police Department to coordinate road closures and signage. NOTE: CSUB does not coordinate any off-campus reservations.

  • Runs being requested by on-campus personnel (i.e. faculty, staff, or students) need to schedule their Run into the CSUB online scheduling system 25 Live.

  • All Runs require approval from the following:

    • University Police Department

    • Safety and Risk Management

    • CSUB Cabinet member
