Title IX Training

CSU Bakersfield’s commitment to the safety of its campus community and a mandate from the CSU requires all students, staff and faculty to complete an annual online Title IX training. Per CSU Executive Order 1095 (Revised), Systemwide Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence and Stalking Policy, issued by the Chancellor’s Office on June 23, 2015, all students, staff and faculty are required to complete training on campus sexual violence as well as discrimination and harassment.

The full text of the Executive order may be accessed here: https://www.calstate.edu/eo/EO-1095-rev-6-23-15.html

Students will complete an online video-based sexual violence prevention program created by Student SuccessTM. It is being offered to CSUB students as the primary option to fulfill the mandatory Title IX Requirements.

All students are sent a letter via email detailing log-in information and training details. A judicial hold will be placed on the students account should they fail to complete their Title IX training requirements by the specified deadline. The judicial hold will prevent students from registering for classes for the following semester.

Employees are required to complete the "CSU's Sexual Misconduct Prevention Program" every year while they are employed by the university.

The training has been assigned on Skillport and must be completed within 90 days. Skillport can be accessed here: https//csulearn.csub.edu and by logging in with CSUB credentials. The training's will then need to be completed on an annual basis.
