2022 Fall Graduate Hooding and Undergraduate Ceremony
Mechanics Bank Arena (formerly Rabobank Arena)
Parking: Handicap parking is available in front of the arena on Truxton Ave. and in the parking structure.
Accessibility Seating: The arena is an accessible venue for wheelchairs, walkers, and other disability devices.
Spring Graduate Hooding and Undergraduate Ceremonies
CSUB Main Soccer Field
Parking: Parking Lot I located South of the Icardo Center has designated spaces for disabled parking. As you are heading south on Gosford, turn right on Camino Media and head west. Turn right at the CSUB entrance and head north on Roadrunner Drive. Disabled parking spaces are available in the south section of Parking Lot I. Once you are on the campus, please indicate your need to utilize disabled parking, and University Police staff will further assist you.
Wheelchair Seating: Wheelchair accessible seating is available on the south-west side of the CSUB Main Soccer Field. This seating area is limited and cannot be reserved. As you enter the CSUB Main Soccer Field , proceed to your left and a designated seating area for persons in wheelchairs will be available in front. Because seating is limited, one attendant per person in a wheelchair will be allowed to sit in this area during the ceremony.
Disabled Seating: Disabled seating for persons with mobility disabilities is available throughout the CSUB Main Soccer Field. The bleachers and wheelchair tent is designated for persons with mobility disabilities. This seating is limited and cannot be reserved. One attendant per disabled guest will be allowed in this seating area.
Hearing or Mobility Disability
Graduates with mobility or hearing difficulties or other disabilities should contact Office of Services for Students with Disabilities at (661) 654-3360 for mobility assistance. Sign language interpreters are available at all commencement ceremonies.
American Sign Language Interpreters
Interpreters will be on stage for each ceremony at the Icardo Center and viewable on the video screens at the Main Soccer Field. Closed Captioning will also be displayed on the video screen.
