Career Counseling Fees & Policies

The Center for Career Education & Community Engagement provides career services to all students enrolled at California State University, Bakersfield. In addition to a full of services for currently enrolled students, CECE works with alumni, and general community members. Please review our fee structure highlighted below

Current CSU Students

All counseling Services: No Fees  

CSUB Alumni

Full Use of Software Tools (Handshake, which include online resume reviews): No Fees

Attendance at Career Events, Fairs and Workshops: No Fees

Two (2) Career Counseling Appointments: No Fees

• One Electronic Response/Exchange per appointment

Additional Career Counseling Appointments after the two (2) free: $50.00/per appointment

CSU Current Students/Alumni (non-CSUB)

Limited Use of Software Tools: $25.00/12 months

One (1) Appointment: $25.00

Additional Appointments: $50.00/per appointment

General Community Members (includes CSUB Extended University students)

One (1) Appointment: $100.00

Additional Appointments: $50.00 per appointments (up to 2)
