First time college students:

We congratulate you on your decision to seek out higher education! Unfortunately, the CSUB Antelope Valley campus of CSUB only accepts transfer students who have completed all of their lower division general education courses. We encourage you to consider starting at main campus in Bakersfield and then transferring back to us once your GE is complete. Another option is to complete your lower division General Education requirements and lower division Major pre-requisites at a local community college. We have articulation agreements with most local community colleges so transferring from these schools is as streamlined as possible. We look forward to welcoming you as a CSUB Roadrunner in the future!

The University Catalog and Course Schedules:

CSUB offers the University Catalog online for free. The schedule of classes is typically available two weeks preceding registration and can be found online by going to and clicking on the “current students” tab and then “class search”. For general information regarding advising, forms, dates and deadlines, and all other advising inquiries please visit the Academic Advising and Resource Center.
