Runner Alumni Mentor Program

The Runner Alumni Mentor Program, established by the Alumni Association in 2018, pairs up CSUB alumni and other professionals with current students and recent graduates who need help with such things as choosing a career path, drafting a resume, interviewing for jobs and networking.

This academic year (2019-2020), we matched up 81 mentees with 79 mentors for what is our fourth cycle of the program. We also extended RAMP from a semester-long to academic year-long initiative to give mentor-mentee relationships more time to develop and to add programming.

Each mentor-mentee relationship develops differently but generally, we ask each pair to meet up at least once a month and attend our professional-development workshops and mixers. We also opened the program up to people who've graduated from CSUB since May 2017.

We are always on the lookout for additional mentors for future cycles of RAMP. If you are interested, please fill out our mentor application.
