CSUB Fund
The Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship is responsible for the execution of a comprehensive annual giving program, the development and management of coordinated programs of communication, and solicitation strategies involving e-mail, direct mail, and the CSUB phonathon program. All efforts are focused on shaping a sustainable tradition of annual support.
Gift Officers
Gift officers are responsible for the success of philanthropic fundraising and work collaboratively on corporate and foundation relations, planned giving, and donor and volunteer relations/stewardship. Development directors often work collaboratively with each other whenever multiple units are involved with a prospect or in a project. The aim is to achieve the comprehensive university goals that ultimately benefit faculty, staff, and students.
Planned Giving
Planned giving enables supporters of the university to realize their philanthropic goals by creating a plan to make current or future gifts that are beneficial to CSUB. Gifts with lasting impact may be simple bequests, gift annuities and pooled fund donations, or complicated real estate and charitable trusts.
