We are a transfer-friendly campus, with transfer specialists available to discuss your educational goals & design a tailor made transfer plan to ensure you a seamless transition to CSUB.The CSUB Transfer Office is here to assist if you are pursuing a degree in the fields of: Arts & Humanities, Business & Public Administration, Natural Science, Mathematics and Engineering or Social Science & Education.

Bakersfield College and Taft College STEM StudentsCurrent Bakersfield College and Taft College STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) students have exclusive access & specialized transfer support services for a direct path to “Your” CSUB. These students have the opportunity to participate in the following programs:
- Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)
Admission to CSUB is guaranteed upon meeting all admissions and program requirements.
- Concurrent Enrollment
Students are allowed to enroll in one courser per term at CSUB, with tuition waived. Students must meet program requirements to participate. If you meet the eligibility requirements and are interested in applying, please make an appointment with Natasha Harris, CSUB STEM Transfer Specialist, (661) 395-4600 or contact the Bakersfield College Counseling Center at (661) 395-4421 to schedule an appointment.
Pre-Advising Appointments
CSU Bakersfield offers pre-admission advising appointments to students who are interested in transferring to CSUB. During these appointments, CSUB representatives will review your transcript and discuss information needed to become eligible for admission. Please bring the following items to your appointment:
- Copies of all college and or university official and unofficial transcripts.
- Any Advance Placement (AP) or CLEP test scores.
- All documents related to admissions or graduations, including a list of any courses you are currently taking.
Sorry, we are not able to advise international students or domestic students with international transcripts.
