Alumni & Friends

Greetings From the Chair

Chair of Psychology

Welcome to the Alumni & Friends page. The Department is very happy you have joined us. We hope you will return frequently to keep up with all the new developments within the department and university, to stay in touch with our amazing students, and to connect with your fellow alumni.

Each semester we will feature a different alumnus from the Psychology program (undergraduate and graduate). We encourage you to read about your friends and peers from other classes, and we invite you to send us your stories and the stories of other graduates of our programs. We are very proud of all our graduates’ achievements and are honored to have served you while you were here. We’d love to hear how your time at CSUB has affected your life since you left.

We know that our current students benefit from the trails you have blazed for them and from the mentoring and support you have given them in our community. We appreciate your loyalty to CSUB and its students.

Several valuable services are available to alumni who join the Alumni Association. For more information about free membership in the Alumni Association, please vist the Alumni page

President Mitchell frequently reminds current students, alumni, and community partners “CSUB…It’s your university.” We hope you will think of Psychology as your home within your university.

Tell Us Your Story

Please let us know what has happened to you since graduation and how your time at CSUB contributed to where you are today. If you'd like to share your story and possibly become a "Featured Alumnus," send your story and contact information to tboone

Support Psychology at CSUB

With state support for higher education shrinking, public universities like CSUB are turning increasingly to private supporters of education. We will need your help if we are to continue educating and inspiring tomorrow's workers, community leaders, and informed citizens.

If education is important to you and you value the experiences you had at CSUB, please consider contributing to the Psychology Fund at CSUB.
