The third annual Roadrunner Science Day was held on Saturday, April 23, 2016. With generous support from PG&E, the School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering (NSME) celebrated by inviting K-12 students to participate in engaging science activities.

NSME clubs showcased demonstrations and experiments to the young audience. Participating clubs included the Geology Club, Chemistry Club, Computer Science & Engineering Club, Biology Club, Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and more.

The amount of activities for students increased over prior years, and three student groups showcased their current research projects with support from their faculty advisors. The event coupled current CSUB students' love for the sciences with K-12 students' eagerness to learn.  Roadrunner Science Day was a success with nearly 400 students, 200 parents, and many CSUB students experiencing science first hand.
