- News & Information
The Geology Department at CSUB offers undergraduate and graduate programs of exceptional quality specializing in student-involved research designed to solve applied problems of interest to industry and government agencies as well as to the academic community.
Undergraduate and graduate research opportunities are available to all students. Internships and volunteer opportunities are also attainable through our relations with local community and industry supporters.
Our students have many options for participation in local, regional and national geological and petroleum related organizations and societies. These provide excellent scholarship, educational and networking opportunities within our local community and beyond.
The Geology Club at CSUB is a Student Chapter of the AAPG and is an active group of students providing field trips, guest speakers, outdoor activities and educational outreach programs to our local community.
