The Geology Club
The Club's purpose is to educate and involve the community, with a focus on geological awareness. In conjunction with that we promote the geology department, and support undergraduate and graduate research.
The Club strives to bridge the gap between students and faculty, between academia and industry, in order to create a community of learning, networking, and fun.
To achieve our goals, the club promotes monthly involvement in the Pacific Section of AAPG; the San Joaquin Geological Society; the Buena Vista Museum of Natural Science and History; community service and outreach.
The Geology Club is chartered annually with the Office of Student Involvement at CSU, Bakersfield and is a registered Student Chapter of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).
If you want to see what the Geo Club is actively doing please look for us on Facebook at CSUB Geology Club.
