3) Derive the Compton scattering formula (6.22 in the book). A photon of momentum p₁ and wave length λ₁ scatters from an electron at rest. After the collision the photon has momentum p₂ and wavelength at λ₂ an angle θ while the electron of momentum p_e has a scattering angle φ with respect to the incident photon direction. Use energy and momentum conservation for the process and remember that the wave length of the photon is h/p.
