How 2007 Summer Institute Participants will Benefit:

1. Be recognized as a “NASA Education Fellow”

2. Have an opportunity to develop valuable NASA science content lessons using some real-time NASA data and other NASA materials

3. Have an opportunity to publish math and science lessons on the Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching website (M.E.R.L.O.T.).

4. Have an opportunity to present developed activities at future professional events

Have an opportunity to participate in future NASA data gathering events, and

5. Receive priority to participate in CSU-NASA Collaborative grant writing opportunities.

 

Who should attend? 

Ideally each team will consist of a triad:

·   CSU or community college science professors,

·   CSU science methods educators,

·   K-12 teachers. 

 

All institute participants must have a strong interest in learning about NASA content and resources. 

Adjunct lecturers may serve in the place of university professors.
