Welcome to my Home Page! Teaching upper and lower division composition classes at CSUB has been one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had.  I believe that someone who can communicate effectively in writing is a very powerful person.  It is my goal to expose you to writing skills that you can apply to classes in other disciplines as well as to situations in your personal life.  My desire is that you will approach all writing tasks with greater confidence after taking one of my classes.

**English 305 has a mandatory in-person meeting on Saturday, September 19, 2009, from 1 to 5 p.m. in SCI III Room 240.  Students who do not attend this orientation will be dropped from the course.  All information for this class will be provided at the orientation, including access to all necessary web-based features.  This is NOT a WebCT course.
