Dr. Reem Abu-Lughod
Biography
Dr. Reem A. Abu-Lughod is a UT-Arlington graduate with a Master of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice and a Ph.D. in Urban Policy & Public Administration (emphasis in criminal justice). She joined the Criminal Justice faculty board at CSUB in the Fall 2006. She has since taught 6 criminal justice classes for the Department; Gangs in America, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Theoretical Criminology, Terrorism, Race, Ethnicity & Crime, and most recently, Drugs & Crime in America. Dr. Abu-lughod’s current research interests focus on terrorism and counterterrorism, social justice, gender and crime and cultural & religious sensitivity issues.
