The Phim School

The music of The Phim Project is inspired by several years of late night, drum and space, jam-sessions among close friends in Denton, TX.  Originally, the musical journey began as an exploration of rhythms and beats, both ancient and modern, but later came to include postmodern melodies suggesting space and time.  Since the beginning, the purpose has been to create organic sounds that are blended seamlessly into a colorful tapestry of multiple hues.  At times, the music of The Phim Project is complex (crescendo and release), and others contradictory (indigenous and electronic), yet it is always accessible to those willing to listen.
