COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. To review and apply statistical procedures for evaluating and using test scores.
2. To cover the principles of test construction and evaluation.
3. To consider the history and future of psychological testing.
4. To survey the basic psychological tests of ability, personality, and interests.
5. To consider the major applications of psychological test information.
6. To consider problems in test use, such as test bias and legal issues.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Four midterm exams to cover text chapters and related classroom materials: Exam 1 (Chapters 1-4), Exam 2 (Chapters 5-7), Exam 3 (Chapters 8-14), Exam 4 (Chapters 15-22).  Best three will be counted.  Make-up exams are NOT ALLOWED. 
2. Homework assignments will be assigned periodically.  Late homeworks will not be accepted without prior instructor approval.
3. Comprehensive final exam. 
4. Participation in all class sessions.  Participation grade will be based on daily in-class assignments.  The lowest two participation grades will be dropped.
 

COURSE GRADE CALCULATION:	55%  =  MIDTERM EXAMS (Best 3 of 4)
		25%  =  FINAL EXAMINATION 
		15%  =  HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
		 5%   =   PARTICIPATION

A   = 92 -100 %	A- = 90 -  91 %	B+ = 88 -  89 %
B   = 82 -  87 %	B- = 80 -  81 %	C+ = 78 -  79 %
C   = 70 -  77 %	C- = 65 -  69 %	D+ = 63 -  64 %
D   = 53 -  62 %	D- = 50 -  52 %	F   = BELOW 50%
