Kamala Kruszka's Performance Resume
Ms. Kruszka has been a member of the Theatre department since 2005 and brings to her courses the experience of working over 20 years as a professional actress, theater educator, voice-over artist and puppeteer. She holds her MFA in Theatre for Children and Youth from Arizona State University and served as the Education Director at Theater of Youth (TOY) in Buffalo, NY; Science on Stage Artist in Residence at the Buffalo Museum of Science; General Manager and Education Director for the Great Arizona Puppet Theater. She has performed with The Empty Space, Phoenix Theater, The Irish Classical Theater Company, Childsplay, Summerfare, The New Phoenix Theater and Buffalo United Artists. Credits include voice-overs for Fisher-Price Toys as "Toots the Train," "Kasey the Kinderbot" and other national radio ads. She founded Omnipresent Puppet Theater with her husband Don in 2001 and has toured internationally. She currently serves as the Scholarship Chair for the Puppeteers of America.
