This Web Site is designed to show you how to apply the computer, especially the Macintosh computer, in scientific environments. By the time you applied this Web Site with the course you should know the parts of a computer and their functions, know how to productively use the computer to turn out documents which include charts, graphs, drawings, statistical analysis, scientific formulas, extensive footnotes, and a table of contents. You wills also be able to prepare transparencies or slides for presentations, communicate with other people and other computers by the use of a modem, and perhaps explore other uses of the computer to balance your checkbook, write and play music, acquire data from instruments, manipulate data acquired from instruments, use a CD-ROM drive and even try a few games.
If you have any questions regarding the material found in this Web Site, please contact: Dr. Kim Cohn.
