Updates, from time to time, will be posted here |
First off: A little message regarding the use of the bulletin boards
If you post a message on the bulletin board and you receive a return
message that
states
" your browser has sent a message that his server cannot understand"
it is due to a file
ON YOUR computer
depending on whether or not you are using Netscape or Internet Explorer.
If you
are logging at home and the message appears, please follow these instructions
particular to your browser.
For Netscape Users: There is a file in your directory called
'cookies.txt'. This file becomes corrupted and must be
DELETED from
the subdirectory if you want to access the bulletin board. If this
happens,
EXIT OUT of
your browser, completely. Then do a search in the windows explorer,
find the
file 'cookies.txt'
and delete it. It will reside in the Netscape subdirectory.
When that is accomplished
you can open
your browser again and, magically, the bulletin board will reappear.
For Internet Explorer Users: If you are having difficulty
in re-establishing the bulletin boards using
IE 4, please
do the following:
1. Open
Explorer and on the toolbar click on VIEW
2. . . . .then
click on INTERNET OPTIONS
3. . . . .then
click on the GENERAL TAB
there
you will find 2 buttons; delete files and settings
4. . . .go to
SETTINGS
under
the Temporary Internet file folders, you will see 3 buttons; move folders,
view files,
and view objects
5. . . .go to
VIEW FLES
6. . . .Highlight
ALL files and DELETE
7. . . Click
OK and close
Your browser
should now bring up the bulletin boards but you must get COMPLETELY out
of IE and log
back in
