About Me

I am happily married and a very busy mom of 3 children.  I received my AA degree in Liberal Studies from Bakersfield Community College in 1994 and my BS in Geology from Northern Arizona University in 1998.  I am currently pursuing my MS in Geology at CSU, Bakersfield.  My research entails the analysis of core samples for reconstructing the paleoclimate and depositional history of sediments in the Buena Vista Lake, Kern County, California.  My progress is slow but steady!
