Randy's Visit Randy came to visit us in Bakersfield for a couple of days in July 2003. He was just lucky enough to come during our heat wave (Bakersfield was on it's 10th day of over 100+). We drove to Sequoia, hoping it would be cooler (it wasn't) and went to Giant Forest and the Crystal Caverns.
