Get the most out of your tutoring session
* Check in with a tutor at your appointed time.
* Bring your assignment, books, notes, and PRINTED drafts to each session.
* Be prepared to discuss your assignment or work with the tutor (no dropping off papers).
General WRC Guidelines
1.) Tutors work with students at any stage of the writing process to improve the student's own writing abilities, thus enabling students to become better writers.
2.) Tutors will provide proof of assistance when the student spends 30 minutes discussing and improving his or her work with a tutor
3.) For safety reasons, no children are permitted in the Writing Resource Center. Please make other arrangements.
4.) Students must TURN OFF CELL PHONES prior to entering the Writing Resource Center. Please conduct phone conversations outside the WRC.
5.) Students are expected to demonstrate mature, respectful behavior toward all WRC tutors as well as fellow students.
