CSUB's Women and Gender Studies
Network
Women's Network is the student arm of the Women and Gender Studies Program (WGS). The Network provides you with an opportunity to meet and interact with students and faculty who have an interest in women and gender studies. Network members are involved in a variety of campus and community-based activities. For instance, the Network organized a "Take Back the Night" rally in spring of 2003, 2004 and 2007. The Women's Network was also involved in the production of the Vagina Monologues in 2002 & 2003.
We invite you to become a member of Women's Network. Membership is open to women and men, to undergraduate and graduate students, and to all majors. Members of Women's Network understand that many students have work and family commitments. Therefore, as a member, you determine the extent of your involvement in network activities.
To become a member contact Alyssa Wolfer. She will put you on the Women's Network mailing list. You will be contacted about upcoming meetings, activities, and WGS events. Or visit our myspace page.
Faculty Advisor for the Network is Professor Doris Hall, Criminal Justice Department, DDH C117, 661- 654-3121. If you have questions about the WGS minor you can e-mail her or phone.
