Club GEN (formally Women's Network)

Club GEN is the student arm of the Women and Gender Studies Program (WGS). The Club provides students with opportunities to meet and interact with students and faculty who have an interest in women and gender studies, and to participate in a variety of campus and community-based activities. For instance, the Club organized "Take Back the Night" rallies in spring of 2003, 2004 and 2007, participated inproduction of the Vagina Monologues (2002, 2003), and hosted safe sex educational programs as part of the Great American Condom Campaign (2013). Club GEN has received numerous awards including Outstanding Student Organization (2012, 2013), Outstanding Educational Program (2012, 20013), Outstanding Mulit-Cultural Organization (2013), and Outstanding Member Recruitment (2012).
