In an effort to make the process of ordering text books and supplies more accurate, the Bookstore has created a Microsoft Word form that can be filled in electronically.  We are asking for everyone's cooperation using this method of book ordering.   If at all possible, please do not turn in hand written book orders.

Filling Out the Book Order Form

Form example

  1. Use the Tab key to move from one field to another.

  2. The fields are set to automatically wrap, do not press enter or return. Pressing enter or return will move you to the next field; it WILL NOT wrap the text.

  3. When you Tab to the Term and Year, you will see a drop-down box arrow appear.  Choose the Term and Year from the list provided.

  4. Save the completed form with a new name, such as "Dr. Zhivago Fall 2003 Econ101 Book Order".  This will ensure that the original book order template form remains intact on your computer for use with additional courses. You might create a folder in your directory that says " BookOrders" and save your book order files there. 

    NOTE: In order to use long file names you must have FirstClass 7.0 or later installed. If you are using an older version of FirstClass you can download an updated version here for the PC or here for Mac OS 9 or here for Mac OS X.

  5. Attach and return the book order form to bookorders@csub.edu

  If you wish to receive a return receipt indicating when the bookstore opened your email follow the
   instructions below:

  1. Open a new email.  Address it to Bookstores@csub.edu

  2. Attach the book order form to the email

  3. Click on Message 

  4. Click on Receipt 

  5. Click on Return Receipt on Read
