WebCT ID and Password

A WebCT ID is the only means of accessing your WebCT course(s).  Your WebCT ID is the first portion of your RunnerMail e-mail address (i.e. jdoe6@runner.csub.edu has a WebCT ID of jdoe6).   Some users WebCT IDs may include a number at the end and if your name has a hyphen, use an underscore in its place (i.e. John Smith-Brown WebCT ID is jsmith_brown).

WebCT IDs are case sensitive and must be entered in lowercase letters.

Passwords for first-time users are the last five digits of your CSUB ID number.

First time users are required to change passwords when logging in for the first time. New passwords should be four or more characters in length, consist of letters and/or numbers only, and can not be the same as your old password and are case sensitive.

If you know your WebCT ID but have forgotten your password you can use the Forgot your Password link and a password will be e-mailed to you.  This link will only work if you have logged into WebCT and set up the log in hint question.
