CSUB offers
first-time freshmen a program that guarantees completion of a degree in
four years.
To
qualify for the Four Year Degree Pledge the following criteria must be
met:
1.
Be ready to enroll in baccalaureate English and mathematics
courses.
2.
Meet with an academic advisor each quarter and enroll in a full
load of coursework that you and the advisor agree meets your degree
requirements (at
least 15 units each quarter and at least 45 units each academic year).
3.
Have a declared major and do not change majors without prior approval.
4.
Maintain at least 2.00 GPA
Four
Year Degree Pledge participants are:
1.
Given registration priority which enables you to have priority in
the selection of classes.
2.
Assigned to an advisor who will keep you informed of the courses
needed to be taken.
3.
Assured that the University will pay your registration fees for
any quarters you have to enroll in after your fourth year.
