Incoming freshmen graduating from a local
CSUB service area high school may apply for scholarships at California State
University, Bakersfield. The application, along with two CSUB Freshman
Scholarship Recommendation Forms must be completed and returned to the
Division of Undergraduate Studies by April 1st. The University's
minimum freshman scholarship criteria include:
1. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.
2. Must provide ACT/SAT scores.
Students applying for a CSUB Freshman
Scholarship must obtain two recommendations in order to be considered.
