Information Resources and the Faculty
Teaching and Learning Center want to help you use the computer in your
office. We'll arrange for a trained student assistant to come to
your office to provide a private tutorial on software that CSUB supports.
What to expect
Private, confidential help in your office
by a knowledgeable, courteous student assistant who is familiar with the
software you requested help on.
You will be at the keyboard; the student
will sit at your side and answer your questions. The purpose of the private
lesson is to help you learn how to use your computer.
The students are trained undergraduates,
not professional computer experts. They will not give advice on hardware
or software purchases, and they may not know the answer to every question
you ask.
Up to a one-hour appointment. Subsequent
appointments may be available, depending on resources.
