An Introduction to CSUB 101:
Teaching in the First-Year Experience Program
Presenter: Emerson D. Case,
The Faculty TLC, in collaboration with the Roadrunner First-Year RUSH-A Program, invites faculty and staff to a seminar on teaching First-Year Experience courses.
Participants will:
- Learn about the history of the First-Year Experience movement on American campuses.
- Become acquainted with the sequence of courses in the FYE Program at CSUB and the focus of each course.
- Learn about the Goals and Objectives of CSUB 101/CSUB301.
- Be introduced to syllabi, materials, and resources used in CSUB101/CSUB301 courses.
- Learn about the Runner Reader common reader program.
