(1) Open a Word document and copy and paste the following questions, place the answer with a  green text color under the question.

Using  your personal Yahoo page or the search engine of your choice find a web site that has:

  1. The EPA gas mileage, find the gas mileage listed, for a Hummer, Jeep Cherokee, Toyota Pris, Honda Civic ,  you (or your family's) current car [If your car year cannot be found use 2007 data for an equivalent car].  Name the search engine, search method and web site you found, the car make and gas millage for each car listed.  Use copy and paste to minimize your typing.

  2. What is your (or your family's) current car worth if you were buying it from a private party? Find the answer on the internet, place the web address in your bookmarks on your MyYahoo page. Name of the search engine, search method and web site you found, your car make and year and the current worth of your car

  3. What movies are currently showing in Bakersfield   name the search engine, search method and web page you found followed by the movies showing in Bakersfield  copied and pasted from the  web page.

  4. Who was Ada Lovelace and what was her importance in computer history? Find a professional, scholarly, source.  Name the search engine, search method and web page you found followed by a copy and paste of the web answer about the importance of Ada Lovelace.

(2)  Define the Terms with an "*" and improve on definitions of terms you have in your dictionary.  Save your definitions in  your portfolio and place a copy in your homework folder. Wording should be yours  (not just copy and pasted from another source) clear, complete and understandable to someone like your self but not in this class. 

Erase all files in your homework folder.  Place a copy of all homework, in red above,  in your homework folder and bring to next class to place in class homework folder on the transfer drive
