Energize Colleges is a program of Strategic Energy Innovations. Strategic Energy Innovations, a non-profit based out of the San Francisco area, develops and delivers solutions customized to help communities accomplish their sustainability goals.

Energize Colleges supports a network of colleges and universities to prepare leaders in the new energy economy. The goal of this program is to develop students’ knowledge, skills, and experience to effectively evaluate energy career options and transition into the green workforce.

The Energize Colleges program consists of 3 core components:

Internships: Campus or community energy-saving projects are selected to host CSUB students as Energize Colleges interns for one semester.

Curriculum: Energize Colleges has a library of existing curricula in energy education. Grants are available for CSUB faculty to create new or modify existing energy courses.

Community Engagement: Interns provide energy instruction to high school students and inform students about college energy programs and careers.
