Single Subject Credential Program Description
Candidates can obtain a single subject teaching credential at either of our two campus locations: Bakersfield and Antelope Valley. This credential authorizes candidates to teach in the specific subject(s) named on the credential in departmentalized classes such as those in most middle schools and high schools. Our dedicated faculty and staff work closely with each candidate throughout the program from early field experience to full day student teaching. Our courses combine theory and practice to prepare candidates with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be successful and effective educators.
