Who is my Advisor?
Each declared PEAK major is assigned an advisor in the Department. If you want to find out your assigned advisor, login to your MyCSUB account. On the lower right hand corner you will see an Advisor box with your faculty advisor's name and phone number. Contact your assigned advisor to arrange an individual advising appointment.
If you need assistance in arranging an advising appointment, contact the Department Administrative Assistant at 654-2187.

Contact the CSUB Credential Program if you are interested in pursuing a physical education single-subject teaching credential. Students are encouraged to attend an orientation to learn specific admission requirements.
The Department of Physical Education and Kinesiology offers the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) bronze level coaching certification in conjunction with the PEAK 373: Psychology of Coaching. Since January 1, 2009 ASEP coaching certification is required for all public school athletic coaches K-12. If interested you can discuss the option with your advisor.
