Club Sōsh is the student organization for sociology majors and minors at CSUB, although any CSUB student who is interested in sociology is welcome to join. In addition to networking with sociology faculty, Club Sōsh seeks to build relationships among students through their participation in a range of academic, educational, social, and community-based activities. Some activities include organizational fundraising, inviting guest speakers to campus, sponsoring campus events, participating in the student club fair, and volunteering in the local community.
