Professor Reifel is a lecturer in the Department of Social Work at California State University, Bakersfield and also has a private practice specializing in issues related to parenting and child maltreatment. She has taught classes in macro social work practice, human behavior in the social environment, child maltreatment, and legal and ethical in social work practice. Professor Reifel’s research interests include parent/child attachment, child maltreatment, and resilience.
