Academic Support & Student Services Committee


Functions:  To make policy recommendations to the Academic Senate concerning the library, media services, student services, international students, the cafeteria, the bookstore, the computer center, and the campus police.  In the performance of this function, the committee shall monitor the University’s academic support and student services programs and make recommendations to the appropriate administrator.

Structure:  Seven faculty (one from each of the 4 schools and 3 at-large faculty members), one librarian, one student services professional, and one staff member.  In addition, the Associate VP of Academic Programs, the VP of Student Affairs and two ASI representatives shall serve as ex officio, non-voting members.

All meetings of the Academic Support & Student Services Committee are scheduled from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in DDH A108.
