Emergency Contact


The Emergency Contact page allows you to specify the individual or individuals you want notified in the event of an emergency. Clicking the Emergency Contact link opens the Emergency Contacts page, which allows you to manage your information.

Adding Emergency Contacts

You can add one or more emergency contacts. To add an emergency contact:

  1. Click the Add an Emergency Contact button
  2. Enter the Contact Name
  3. Select a relationship from the Relationship drop down box
  4. If your emergency contact lives with you, check the Same Address as Individual box and select the Address Type. Otherwide, click the Edit Address and add their address information.
  5. If your emergency contact has the same telephone number as you, check the Same Phone as Individual box and select the Phone Type.
  6. If the individual lives with you, you can click the Edit Address link to update your address.
  7. Enter the telephone number for your emergency contact in the Contact Telephone field.
  8. If your emergency contact has more than one telephone number, you may include those phone numbers in the Other Telephone Numbers section, as follows:
    1. Click the Add a Phone Number button.
    2. Select the Phone Type from the drop down box, such as Business
    3. Enter the telephone number in the Phone Number field.
  9. When you are satisfied with your entries, click the Save button.
  10. Click the OK button on the Save Confirmation page.

Editing Emergency Contacts

You can edit the name, relationship, contact address, and telephone numbers for your emergency contact. To edit your emergency contact information:

  1. Click the Edit button for the emergency contact you would like to edit.
  2. On the Emergency Contact Detail page, you make the changes to the following fields, as needed:
    1. Contact Name
    2. Relationship
    3. Same Address as Individual and Address Type
    4. Same Phone as Individual and Phone Type
    5. Edit the address, if the individual live a different address
    6. Contact Phone
    7. Other Telephone Nubmers
  3. When you are satisfied with your changes, click the Save button to submit your changes to the system. If you would like to return with out saving your changes, click the Return to Emergency Contacts link.
  4. Click the OK button on the Save Confirmation page.

Changing Your Primary Contact

If you have one emergency contact specified, that individual is added as your primary contact. However if you specify more than one emergency contact, you can change the primary contact to the one you desire.

To change your primary contact:

  1. Click the Change The Primary Contact button
  2. Select the Primary Contact you desire from the drop down box
  3. Click Save
  4. Click Ok to the Save Confirmation message.

Deleting Emergency Contacts

You can delete one or more of your emergency contacts. You are encouraged strongly to add at least one emergency contact. To delete an emergency contact:

  1. Click the Delete button for the individual
  2. Click the Yes-Delete button to delete the emergency contact or click the No - Do Not Delete, if you changed your mind.
