Email Addresses

 


The Student Center provides the ability to maintain your email addresses and select a preferred email address. You can add up to 3 email addresses, such as Main, Home, and On-Campus. In addition, you may designate an email address as your preferred. Click the Email Address link in the Contact Information box to open the Email Addresses page, which will allow you to manage your information.

Adding Email Addresses

You can add one or more email addresses. To add an email address:

  1. Click the Add An Email Address button
  2. Select the Email Type from the drop down box, such On-Campus, Home, or Other
  3. Enter the email address in the Email Address field
  4. If this email address is where you prefer to receive email communication from CSUB, then check the Preferred box.
  5. When you are satisfied with your entries, click the Save button.
  6. Click the OK button on the Save Confirmation page.

Editing Email Addresses

You can edit the Email Type, Email Address, and Preferred indicator from the Email Addresses page. To change your email address information:

  1. On the Email Addresses page, make any changes to the following fields, as needed:
    1. Email Type
    2. Email Address
    3. Preferred
  2. When you are satisfied with your changes, click the Save button to submit your changes to the system.
  3. Click the OK button on the Save Confirmation page.
