You can retrieve information for any student using the New Drop-In Advisees button on the Advisement tab. The student information that is available for viewing includes their:
- Academic information
- Address
- Class Schedule
- Degree progress (degree evaluation)
- Enrollment Appointments (registration times)
- Grades
- Telephone
- To Do List (outstanding requirements)
- Transfer Credit Report
- and Unofficial Transcript

View a Student's Information
To view information for any student, you must:
- View Information
- Search for the student
- Select the desired information from the Student Details drop-down menu
- Click the Change button.
- Select the Term, if applicable
- Click Continue

Search for a Student
You will need either their first and last name, social security number (National ID), or CSUB ID number.
To search for the student:
- Click the Advisement tab
- Click the New Drop-In Advisees button
- Click the Search button
- On the search page, enter either the first and last name, social security number in the National ID box, or their CSUB ID number in the ID box.
- Click the Look Up button
- Select the desired student from the Search Results by clicking their name
- The New Drop-In Advisees page will re-appear, with the selected student's name.
Make a Selection
The **Student Details ** drop down box allows you to select the information you desire to view, such as Addresses, Unofficial Transcript, Transfer Credit, Grades, and Class Schedule.
To make a selection:
- Click the down arrow in the **Student Details ** drop down box
- Select Class Schedule by clicking it.
- Click the Change button.
Select a Term
If a student has attended CSUB for more than one term, the Select Term page will appear giving you an opportunity to select the term you desire.
To select a term:
- Click the circle next to the term you wish to view
- Click the Continue button
Print a Student's Information
You can print the student's information by using the print button on your web browser.
To print the student's information:
- If applicable, click the Printer Friendly Version button or link
- Click the Print button on your web browser tool bar or click File on the web browser menu and then click Print.
Download a Student's Information
You can use the download button, where applicable, to download the student's information to Excel or open it in a web browser. For example, you can download the Transfer Credit detail for a student fromt the Transfer Credit Report.
To download the student's information:
- Click the Download icon
- On the File Download screen, select either Open or Save.
- If you selected Open, the student's information will open in a new browser window.
- If you selected Save, the Save To dialog box opens. To save the information: :
- Navigate to your desired save location, such as a network drive or My Documents
- Name the information, such as tami_nelson.xls.
- Click Save.
