Searching for classes is the first step you should take before registering for classes.

Choose Summer/Fall 2008 Class Schedule. campus login

The next screen you see will be the Class Search screen. You will need to choose Cal State Univ., Bakersfield (includes CSUB- Antelope Valley Campus) from the Institution list and select the appropriate term, Summer or Fall 2008, then click Go.

Two methods of searching for classes are available:

Searching for Classes allows you to specify criteria for a class and receive specific results based on your criteria.You must choose at least two items (criteria) for your search. One of these will have to be the course subject, but the other item is up to you: you can search by the course number, by the meeting time, by the instructor's name, and so on. search classes

To add additional search criteria, click on the Additional Search Critera bar. A form will appear that allows you to search by specific criteria. Additional values may appear on the drop down menus that are not used. Use the following as a guide:

Session: Regular Academic Session
Location: CSU Bakersfield Main Campus
--- ---- or Antelope Valley Campus

Browsing the catalog allows you to look through all of the courses available in a given term. For example, if you want to find out what courses are being offered for a specific subject, like Accounting. detail browse search
